This country garden needed a re-design to position a new pool terrace within the existing garden.

An indoor pool house was an ugly feature within this rural garden. The client wanted to remove the structure and sensitively locate the pool within the existing garden design. A large pool terrace of riven sandstone was created allowing for a variety of different seating arrangements. Cherubs were framed by a new green oak pergola. A pool house and BBQ were also created to allow for maximum use of this newly designed area.

Planting plans were provided and the planting beds were designed into the scheme to soften the new pool terrace within the existing garden. A palette of soft blues, box balls and roses were used in the planting design. Euphorbia and Digitalis were incorporated to pick up on existing planting in a nearby rockery

‘We’re delighted with how the project worked out, we got more use out of the pool this year than we have in the previous seven years!’
