This contemporary house required a wild and natural garden design to help blend the modern building into the naturalistic landscape.

This riverside garden needed a contemporary garden design to reflect the modern nature of the building whilst blending seamlessly into the naturalistic landscape beyond. The garden was a blank canvas with views out across the river.  The house is raised and therefore the clients required the garden to look interesting from above.

An Oak boardwalk runs through the site in a scooping curve leading to a circular seating area at the bottom of the garden. Several steps lead you up a slope to a bench seat which take in the views. Refreshingly the clients did not want a lawn. Large planting beds provide textural planting with a small area for some raised beds.
